Dear NAACCR Community,

In light of ongoing concerns, and the longer-term ramifications that the Covid-19 virus will have on the cancer registry community, the NAACCR Board of Directors and staff have consulted with the Loews Hotel, NAACCR legal representation, and other key partners and have agreed that it is in the best interest of the cancer registry community to cancel the NAACCR 2020 Annual Conference.

We make this decision with deep regret, as it is the first time in 33 years that NAACCR has not hosted an Annual Conference. However, we are in the process of identifying alternate avenues of delivering key and innovative content to the cancer surveillance community including presenting a series of NAACCR Talks with key speakers/subjects later in the year.

We will follow this communication with details on the cancellation of rooms, full registration refunds and other matters as they relate to the conference. Those who submitted abstracts for the conference and invited speakers will be contacted via email with additional information soon. Updated information will continue to be posted on the NAACCR conference website:

Thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented international health crisis. We wish you the best of health, and hope to see you all next year in Palm Springs, CA, June 5-11, 2021!

Betsy Kohler

Executive Director

Behalf of the

NAACCR Board of Directors
